The Grant/Riverside Laboratories outreach program to physicians and regional hospitals uses an integrated approach to providing laboratory services.

You can retrieve patient data whether or not your patient was seen at your office, the hospital or one of OhioHealth's many patient service sites. Any testing we do is fully integrating into your patient's medical record.

Test ordering
We offer an extensive test menu. We also provide 24-hour STAT testing with test results available to you within 3 hours of receipt of the specimen in the laboratory.

You can order tests by logging into the ORB Desktop. An ORB ID is required.

Test results
You can access your test results online by logging into the ORB Desktop. An ORB ID is required.

You can also get reports by

  •  remote printer
  •  automated fax
  •  courier delivery

Offices with sufficient testing volume may have a teleprinter installed and receive test results directly to their printer.

A technologist will telephone you or, in your absence, the person you designate, to go over any critical value results. All critical values are validated prior to notification.

Courier service
Our courier network extends throughout central Ohio to provide prompt pick up and delivery of specimens to our testing centers.

Our couriers provide prompt and courteous service according to your needs.

  • Courier routes are designed around the needs of
    your facility.
  • By owning our own cars (12) and employing our own coutiers (30), we are able to meet the demands of delivering best of class lab services.
  • Specimen pick-up, report and supply delivery will be tailored to your practice's needs.
  • Couriers carry dry ice and refrigerated specimen containers so your staff does not have to pre-package frozen specimens for transportation.

Billing
The Grant/Riverside Laboratories has a dedicated billing team that handles all client and direct patient billing. We are a provider for most major insurances.

We are Medicare/Medicaid approved, with medical necessity verification at the time of registration. This process assures that your patients are informed and educated about tests that are not covered by their insurance companies.
